In 1983, the retrospective was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Yves Saint-Laurent. On the occasion of this exhibition, entitled Yves Saint Laurent - 25 Years of Design, the designer creates Les quatre Saisons, a series of collages depicting fall, winter, spring and summer.
